To recover a lost Udyam Registration Number (URN) or Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM), you only require the email address or mobile number provided during the Udyam Registration process.

- Choose OTP(One Time Password) option as filled in application.
- Enter Mobile/Email as per above selection.
- After clicking on ‘Validate & Generate OTP’ button, you will receive OTP on selected option.
- Enter OTP and click on the ‘Validate OTP’ button. When your OTP is successfully matched, you will get all registered numbers.
Do I need to renew Udyam certificate after a year?
Renewing the certificate annually is unnecessary. To obtain the original certificate, select ‘Print Udyam Certificate’ within the ‘Print/Verify’ tab on the Udyam portal. Enter your Udyam and mobile number, generate OTP, and log in. Once logged in, you can print the original certificate.
Is PAN Number & GSTN (GST number) required for Udyam registration?
The Udyam registration process primarily requires Aadhaar number for individual entrepreneurs or the organization’s PAN for other types of enterprises.
In case of any proprietorship enterprise not registered under any Act or rules of the Central Government or the State Government, the proprietor may use his or her PAN for registration of the enterprise in the Udyam Registration portal and for all other types of enterprises PAN shall be mandatory.
- Having PAN and GSTIN (As per applicablity of CGST Act 2017 and as notified by the ministry of MSME vide S.O. 1055(E) dated 05th March 2021) is required for Udyam Registration with effect from 01.04.2021.
