Procedure for Name Approval LLP

Find if business name can be registered with MCA in India

Stakeholders are requested to ensure that the proposed name selected does not contain any word as prohibited in Section 4(2) & (3) of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 8 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014.

Stakeholders are also requested to read and understand Rule 8 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 in respect of any proposed name before applying for the same.

LLP Agreement

The LLP Agreement must be printed on non-judicial stamp paper. Once LLP Agreement, printed on stamp paper, it must be signed by the Partners of the LLP and notarized. The value of stamp paper on which the LLP agreement must be printed or stamp duty to be paid on the LLP agreement is dependent on the state of incorporation and amount of capital contribution from the partners.

After obtaining LLP incorporation certificate, the LLP agreement, duly signed by the partners of the LLP must be filed within 30 days. (Failure to file LLP agreement attracts a penalty of Rs.100 per day, with no cap.
